Refer-a-Friend Rules


These WeSave Refer-A-Friend Rules ("Terms") outline the guidelines for the WeSave, Inc. ("WeSave," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") Refer-A-Friend Program (the “Program”). This Program offers reward opportunities for Members who refer friends and family to shop through www.wesave.com. These Terms apply to Members participating in the Program, in addition to any existing agreements such as the Membership Terms, Site Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.


1.  General

  1.  The Program is available only to active WeSave Members. Participation is subject to these Terms and any agreements between you and the Company, which are incorporated by reference.

2.  Qualified Referrals.A "Qualified Referral" must:

  1. a. Be a natural person residing in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
  2. b. Register as a new Member on www.wesave.com using a referring Member's unique WeSave ID Referral Link or other tracking method supplied by the Company. 
  3. c. Make one or more Qualified Purchase Transactions through www.wesave.com or at participating WeSave brick-and-mortar merchants. 
  4. d. A "Qualified Purchase Transaction" is a purchase made by a Member from a Merchant in the Network, generating a Coalition Marketing Fee (CMF) that is tracked and distributed through the Company's Revenue Distribution Engine (RDE).
  5. e. “Coalition Marketing Fees” (CMFs) are percentages of retail sales amounts collected from participating Merchants on WeSave Member purchases. 
  6. f. The “Distributable Amount” is a percentage of CMFs distributed to participants in the Network involved in the Qualified Purchase Transaction. 

3.  Refer-A-Friend Program Rewards

  1. a. Direct Referrals: Basic and Premier Members can earn 100-basis points (1% of the collected CMFs) as a reward for every new registered Member they directly refer who shop and make Qualified Purchase Transactions. 
  2. b. Indirect Referrals: Only Premier Members earn 20-basis points (0.2% of the collected CMFs) as a "Premier Referral Bonus" reward for Qualified Purchase Transactions made by Members referred by their Direct Referrals.
  3. c. Referral Compensation Threshold: When the referral compensation in a Member's account reaches $25, the Member can transfer the amount to their registered debit card or depository account on record with the Company via ACH or other methods allowed by the Company.


4.  Premier Member Merchant Referrals.

  1. a. Premier Members can refer merchants and online vendors to join the WeSave coalition.   
  2. b. Referrals require providing the merchant's legal company name, address, and decision maker's contact information. A Loyalty Program Operator (LPO) will evaluate eligibility and follow up with the merchant for registration. 
  3. c. Once approved, Premier Members can earn 100-basis points (1% of the collected CMFs) as a reward on every Qualified Purchase Transaction made by other Members at the merchant they referred.

5.  Representations

  1. By participating, Members represent that they have a personal relationship with their referrals and have necessary consents to submit their information to the Company. Referrals will be vetted and subject to approval by the Company.  Members must comply with all Company policies, laws, and regulations.

6.  Restrictions 

  1. Prohibited activities include self-referrals, making purchases on behalf of another Member, creating fake accounts, bulk email distribution, unauthorized posting of referral links, bidding on WeSave-related keywords, unauthorized use of Company logos, paid advertising to generate referral traffic, misleading representations, and any disparaging or defamatory actions towards WeSave. Multiple accounts with the same identifying features may be flagged as fraudulent.


7.  Reservation of Rights 

  1. a. The Company reserves the right to withhold, deny, or cancel rewards and suspend or terminate Member or merchant accounts if activities are deemed fraudulent, abusive, unethical, suspicious, or inconsistent with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or any applicable laws.     
  2. b. Referrals are credited to the first Member to register them under their WeSave ID Referral Link. Disputes over referrals will be resolved by the Company at its sole discretion. 


5.  Modification, Termination, and Interpretation 

  1. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Refer-A-Friend Program or change these Terms at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. All interpretations of these Terms will be at the Company's sole discretion.
